yesterday, there was a water interruption which affected over 1 million people in Klang Valley. this meant, the contractors couldnt work so they decided not to come. it turned out my housing area wasnt affected so we wasted one day. today's work wasnt much- think this is how it is gonna be from now on as the contractors started to do the more meticulous part of the job e.g. electrical wiring, plaster ceiling and such.

Sat June 25th is going to be an important milestone as:
- the marble floor will be delivered - all 860 pieces of them including the borders
- the grille will be installed to build a small area for plants. the wall standing in the way will be demolished on the same day to take advantage of my parents' absence.
- another contractor will inspect the house to provide new quote for the kitchen island, & doors. if this proves to be satisfactory, i hope i dont have to deal with J anymore. the bitch is so slow
- bathroom tiles will be delivered
i dont think i will be able to meet the target of July 10th for work completion but by this date, i hope to be able to move back into the house.
