I had a good celebration of CNY with 3 of my girl friends. It was a last minute thing but still well arranged. Good planning W! It was also J's birthday so celebrate we did till past midnight. The total bill came to a whopping $116/person, something that was really out of my range but, what the hell...
And yes--it was also a week of reckless, irresponsible spending. I have been eyeing this nice set of bedspread, 500+ thread count, which price was really out of my league. With 3 beds between the 2 houses that I keep and 7 sets of bedspreads (which allows me to change them twice/month each 2 weeks), it felt like I needed 1 more to complete the collection. Always 1 more! So I went to Metrojaya again yesterday...for the 3rd time within the past 4 weeks, and grabbed it anyway. Oh well, bonus for 2010 was just announced the day before so...what the hell... With that in mind too, I decided to stop by at Laura Ashley's and got a table lamp which I very much regret less than 12 hours later. Stupid Laura Ashley still makes lamp with bayonet vs screw cap. It is not easy to find energy saving bulbs with bayonet caps. You are so fucked up Laura! No wonder your outlets are all closing down! And so I wrote to Laura to make her know how I feel. If she writes back I will post it up here. Anyway...To complete the long CNY weekend I InVited 2 friends for a sleepover last night...and it wasn't until 6am before we hit the bed. Fun as always.
And tomorrow...is a working day and if you are a working class like me, you would know that it will be quite a while before we have a long holiday. Life is such a pain! Oh...I just remember--I haven't ironed my clothes for tomorrow. What a bummer!
